La Kai Sandpine is a coastal resort located in the quite City of Gangneung on the East Sea of Korea and consists of five nine story condominium towers, Restaurant, Convention Center and Water Park. The Korean Developers, Seungsan Korea, chose Rozewski & Co, Designers as Project Designers and Chang Jo, Architects, in Seoul, South Korea as Project Architects. The intent was to blend Korean and American cultures into an architecture that would combine the rich traditions of the Korean lifestyle with the rural vernacular of the American West. The result is a wonderful architectural “conversation” between two rich, diverse cultures.
